We started the chapter as the part of the 2018 Bateman Case Study Competition, an ad hoc- a student organization with a special purpose. With Purpose turned out to mean so much to me and my four teammates that we want to ensure future Cowboys can help with the cause after we graduate. We have a sustainability plan including annual events such as a bone marrow drive called Rattle Your Bones. Since we have it in October, we want to feature the Halloween theme and a trunk or treat event that goes along side where we ask students to write encouraging messages on cardstocks and we send them out to local children's hospitals. We are focusing on building and training a new chapter and leadership team, so we can implement our annual Kids' Career Fair, a community-wide career fair with interactive booths to spark future career interests in kids 12 and under. We hope to promote this event by hosting profit-share nights at local restaurants, campus education events and promoting on our social media (Instagram/ Facebook @OSUWithPurpose).

Being able to advocate for pediatric cancer treatment and spread the knowledge we learned through research and panel interviews with oncologists made us realize every child should have the chance to grow up to be whoever and whatever they want to be, and that's when we came up with our chapter mission hashtag, #IWantToBe. We believe kids can be anything- whether that's a doctor, a scientist, a teacher, a princess or a superhero.
