"I decided after his death that I had to do something.  This festival is something good in his honor to help other families going through the same thing."  Amelia Moscowitz, 13

When Amelia lost her friend to cancer, she decided to do something about it.  She enlisted the help of her friend Juliette and together they spent the summer organizing Jam With Purpose.  They courted corporate sponsors, found a beautiful venue and recruited more than a dozen youth performers and volunteers to help run the event.

In just 2 hours, Jam With Purpose raised more than $3,200 showed a community that kids have the power to cure childhood cancer.
